Love

What is Love. I wonder what people mean when they say I Love you. While to me Love means sacrifice. You must let go of some thing, if you love someone. In John Gospel chapter 3 vs 16 says "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." A fathers Love for his children that made him sacrifice his own son.Wow, how awesome, I should categorically point out that it wasnt us that Love God but it was God that Loved us and chose us, (1 John 4 vs 10-This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins) even when we still living in sin he still loved us. And all he needs from us is just reciprocate back the love to him, accept his son as the King as the Messiah, allow him dwell in your heart and he will save you that what's he ask thats what he need from us.

Like I said Love is sacrificing, so for Love to be complete it entails both parties sacrificing. We must also let go of some thing in. In 1 John 2 vs 15 -Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Yes the love for the world must be let go, that's what is required from us. And when that is done your christian life will start a transformation to another new level. Remember in 1 Corinthians 13 vs 13-And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
