EFCC re-arraigns seven for N2.7bn subsidy fraud


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has re-arraigned additional six oil marketers at a Lagos High Court, Ikeja for fuel subsidy fraud amounting to about N2.7bn
The anti-graft agency had on February 21 re-arraigned three others along with two firms before Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo for alleged N1.5bn fuel subsidy fraud.
All the accused were previously arraigned before Justice Habeeb Abiru, who ceased to continue presiding over the cases after his elevation to the Court of Appeal last November.
The accused who were produced in court on Tuesday were re-arraigned in two sets before Justice Lateefat Okunnu. Walter Wagbatsoma, Adaoha Ugo-Ngadi, Fakuade Ebenezer, Ezekiel Ejidele, and Ontario Oil and Gas were re-arraigned for allegedly fraudulently obtaining of N1.9bn from the Federal Government under the subsidy scheme. - See more at: http://www.punchng.com/news/efcc-re-arraigns-seven-for-n2-7bn-subsidy-fraud/#sthash.EdFv3Kac.dpuf
